Buckingham Palace

Buckingham Palace, the Queen’s official residence, is open to visitors for just eight weeks annually during the summer. As a London Pass customer you will have an exclusive opportunity to purchase guaranteed entry tickets with no additional booking fees - don’t miss out on this amazing experience! Buckingham Palace

Buckingham Palace has served as the official London residence of Britain's sovereigns since 1837. The State Rooms of the Palace are lavishly furnished with some of the greatest treasures from the Royal Collection and are open to visitors during the Annual Summer Opening in August and September.

This year, a special exhibition will recreate the excitement of the royal wedding on 20 November 1947, which seized the public’s imagination in the dark days after the Second World War. It will include Princess Elizabeth’s magnificent wedding dress and 15-foot tulle veil by Norman Hartnell, and dresses worn by some of the other members of the wedding party.

In addition, jewellery worn by the Princess on the day or presented to her on her marriage will be shown in a dazzling display of diamonds, rubies, sapphires, emeralds and pearls.

In 2008, Buckingham Palace is open from 29 July – 29 September inclusive, from 09.45 to 18.00 daily, with the last admission at 15.45hrs.
